This class introduces indoor cycling and some of the most common challenges: hills, flat roads and how we can use time, resistance and RPM to create a challenge.
It is really important that if this is your first time raising your heart rate in a while that you keep it at a very manageable pace and you only push yourself as much as you feel it is appropriate. I will mostly refer to an effort scale of 1-10. One being little to no exertion and 10 being all out max effort which could only be sustained for 10-20 seconds. We do not aim to reach 10/10 in this class and if at any point you feel you are exerting yourself beyond what feels beneficial - please reduce the intensity.
Please watch the bike set up video before you undertake the class and also refer to the manual/safety instructions of your own indoor bike as all bikes are different.
You're in control of these workouts, so if a ride is too challenging, shorten it or reduce the intensity to fit your need.
